A fairly easy hike, though a bit rocky in parts, to some great vistas. We didn't spot much in the way of wildlife, as this is still fairly close to / surrounded by the developed areas of Tahoe. Certainly worth the 1.5 hours for the view of the lake - breathtaking!

It was everything as described. There was a new beautiful of the lake and mountians around each corner. I took my 8 and 10 year old with me. They found it a little steep but the views were worth the work. There was a nice change in plants and sun versus shade along the way.
