Great place to get a quick hike in while traveling up the I-5

Barney Lake is probably one of my favorite short trips in the Sierra. It is truly amazing. Although I made this trip a couple of years ago and can't describe the trip in too much detail, I highly reccommend this hike. We made the trip in October and were greeted with a crazy lightning storm at Crown Lake followed up with an inch of snow.
