Easy trail. Boring for the first 1.5 miles. The waterfall is amazing. To me it was paradise. My 6 and 9 year old loved the waterfall and the pool of water. There was also a little sandy beach to play on. I got into the water it was refreshing.

This was a great trip with my 2 eight year old grandsons. The trail guides gave them a great education of the area and their enthusiasm to find the next marker and learn what was to be seen showed the success of this trail. The waterfall at the end of the trail was just an awesome and fitting climax to a great hike. I am taking this hike again soon, with 3 grand daughters.

This is truly one of the best kept secrets in Utah. The scenery driving to the trail is breathtaking and the trail itself is beautiful. I hiked this trail based on a review in another publication and was very surprised at what i found. This was not a leisurly stroll by the creek as was described. It is a "family" trail but is long, up and down, and the trail is loose sand for most of the 6 mile route. This can be grueling for smaller children or the parent carrying them. The falls at the end (midpoint - since it is in & out) is one of the nicest and the water cold and refreshing. Don't take your smaller kids on this one unless you are in good shape, you have plenty of water, and you run the beach in Florida regularly. Otherwise it is one of the best you will hike - certailny on of the most scenic. We saw deer, beaver, hawks, otter.
