This hike is actually three hikes in one: Hickman Natural Bridge, the Rim Overlook, and the Navajo Knobs. Most people go only as far as the Hickman Natural Bridge, which is just 0.9 miles from the trailhead. This short hike has a great deal to offer. Not only will you see the natural bridge itself, but there is also a small Fremont Indian granary near the trail. Be sure to purchase a trail guide from the box near the trailhead before you start. If you are looking for a longer hike you can continue on from Hickman Bridge to the Navajo Knobs for a total round trip distance of 11.0 miles. This extended hike gives you the opportunity to climb to the top of the Waterpocket Fold and enjoy the panorama below the south side of the uplift.
