This is a very strenuous hike but the payoff is absolutely breathtaking. The best way to do this trail is to make the look going down the Bill Hall Trail, down Deer Creek, up the Thunder River Trail, and then back up Bill Hall. Their is a small trail that runs parallel to the Colorado River and connects Deer Creek and Tapeats Creek. Doing this enables you to see Thunder River Falls, Tapeats Creek, and Deer Creek.
