Boucher trail follows along the ledge of the canyon most of the way giving outstanding views until it makes two long steep drops down into campsite for first night. Make sure to get started early, 9 miles the first day and lots of boulder hoping and difficult at times. Campsite is nice and secluded. The second day is a 5 mile fairly easy hike with more great views of the canyon and river. Hermit campsite is very nice with great sites and even a little pool area in the creek. Only drawback was alittle crowed. The final day was a 7.5 mile hike up. Santa Maria Spring is a great place to eat lunch and refill water before final few miles to top. Great trip! Boucher trail not for everyone, but worth the trip for those who try. First time to Grand Canyon, weather was perfect, Canyon was amazing!
