Rancheria Campground on Huntington Lake is big, handsome, and noisy. The acoustics around camp on the pine-shored lake are such that you can hear a mouse belch at dusk from the south shore. You’ll hear folks laughing on boats at the nearby marina, outboards putting on fishing skiffs, chaps hammering siding on cottages by the town of Lake Shore, and the occasional Fire Service helicopter flyby. It feels like one big, beautiful neighborhood.
