A short but steep drop into the Maze, often the ?rst leg of longer day hikes or backpacking trips. Before you head down the trail, take a few minutes to survey the landscape. They call this place the Maze Overlook because you get a great overview of the well-named Maze. The magnificent Chocolate Drops highlight the southern horizon, and you can see Standing Rock, Chimney Rock, Lizard Rock, and many other famous landmarks of the Maze District from here.
