A short wash walk to a massive arch at the end of a four-wheel- drive road. The Fortress Arch Trail starts right at the end of Horse Canyon Road. From the parking area it heads up a dry wash and stays there for easy walking all the way. The trail ends near a big, flat rock that makes an excellent spot to relax for a few minutes while you marvel at this massive arch.
