A moderately difficult and very heavily used route to the world’s most famous arch. If you’ve ever seen a postcard or poster of Arches National Park, you’ve probably seen Delicate Arch. This amazing arch has become the symbol of Arches National Park, which is somewhat surprising because it’s barely visible from the road.

This is one of my favorite hikes. Time your hike so you return to your car just before dark. Being at the arch as the sun almost sets is the most spectacular time.

An awesome hike. Go Sept - March to avoid people... very beautiful. One of the more amazing things I have ever seen.

I have hiked this trail many times. I love it more each time. I don't know why anyone would write anything but the best review for this perfect monument. While there may be little or no solitude here, remember, you are going for the beauty of the arch and the trail, not the people. The best times to go are spring and fall, particularly after a rain because the desert comes alive. I would never suggest to hike it in the summer. It's just tooooo hot!!! If you do go in the summer, do it before 7:00am or after 7:00pm. Don't let the heat get in the way of this stunning experience.

First 1/2 mile kind of boring; then the climb up the slick rock with wonderful views begins. Fun reaching Delicate Arch with all the other folks hanging around, wanting to stay as long as possible. Always people there to take your picture under the Arch. Trip back down fast and easy.
