This is a quick, pretty easy hike. After the spectacular views in Bryce Canyon, this seemed a little bit of a letdown. However the trail has its own charm and beauty and the cave is pretty cool. The best part: no one was around! It was very secluded and peaceful. 3-4 stars for atmosphere and beauty, but 1-2 stars for the hike itself (short and easy). It seemed like a good warm-up or cool-down hike.
This was a great family hike! And no one around! The cave is huge, and much bigger than I thought it would be. It had beautiful moss and lots of water dripping out of the ceiling. I would like to see it in the winter when the icicles are hanging all over it. The waterfall didn't have much water running over it. In the spring I think it would be more impressive. But above the waterfall were beautiful hoodoo "windows" that we all hiked up to for pictures. To get there look for the very small brown sign and plenty of parking spaces, three miles past Bryce.
