A multiple-day backpack along the south rim of the Markagunt Plateau, ending at Woods Ranch County Park, including an optional hike to Cascade Falls. Constructed to accommodate both hikers and mountain bikers (although motorized vehicles are prohibited), this outstanding trail links a network of former and current roadways along the southern edge of the Markagunt Plateau, featuring brilliantly colored spires along the rims and sweeping southward vistas. Motorists may access the trail from Strawberry Point, Lars Fork, Cascade Falls, Navajo Lake, and the Webster Flat Road. The numerous access points in the middle of the trail allow hikers to approach it in sections, either as day hikes or as part of one extended backpacking trip.
