This is an unmaintained path that takes the hiker up the North Fork of Taylor Creek. The route follows an unofficial path up the North Fork of Taylor Creek into the canyon between Horse Ranch Mountain and Tucupit Point. To reach the North Fork, follow the Middle Fork Trail from its start at the east end of the parking lot. The path immediately descends a set of wooden steps down to the creek bed. From the bottom of the staircase, the path turns right and heads upstream toward the mouth of the canyon. Portions of the trail are sandy and may offer difficult traveling after rains.
