A route up Scoggins Wash through low desert terrain. This route travels through the painted desert of southwestern Zion National Park to the headwaters of Scoggins Wash. The trek begins at the southern park boundary and travels north up Coalpits and Scoggins washes. Along the route, hikers are rewarded with close views of Mount Kinesava, the Towers of the Virgin, and Cougar Mountain.

A route up Scoggins Wash through low desert terrain. This route travels through the painted desert of southwestern Zion National Park to the headwaters of Scoggins Wash.
