This sandy trail loops onto an elevated bench on the far side of the Virgin River, visiting the Court of the Patriarchs and the Streaked Wall along the way. It is heavily used by park concessionaires for horse tours, so hikers should be prepared to share the trail with heavy horse traffic during the peak season (April through October). For this reason rangers do not recommend the trail as a hiking route.
