Fun easy hike, beautiful landscapes, end of hike overlooks the canyon with a great panoramic. Saw some mountain goats along the trail. Great for all age groups.

Spectacular overlook with a 270 degree view of the grand Zion canyon. We saw mountain goats nearby. About 1.5 hr round trip hike. Not strenuous. My 11 yr old daughter who hates hiking didn't complain too much.

We hiked this trail at sunset with our 6-year old, with no concerns. It was an adventure made more interesting by encountering a bighorn ewe on the trail. She went her merry way after giving us the eye as if to say, "what are you doing here?" A beautiful, short hike not to be missed.

This trail met my expectations of "short and interesting." Being spring, we saw good specimens of cactus, penstimons and other blooming plants. Below the overhangs we experienced the lovely maiden hair ferns thriving on the weeping walls. Don't be distracted by the prickly pears and their glorious blooms like we were. Before we knew it we were going down instead of up to the overlook. But a quick reversal of our steps got us back on the upward trail, just minutes from the overlook. It was a rewarding view of Zion Canyon. Be aware the the trail is directly before you head into the long tunnel. After your hike, take the tunnel and get a good view of the grand arch that you were standing on top of at the trail's end.

This trail starts at the East end of the tunnel and climbs Westward to one of the most beautiful views in the canyon. A short 0.5 mile hike with stairs cut into the rock and railings at the really narrow areas. You get a great view of the canyon looking down instead of looking up. This trail is suitable for most people in average condition and well worth the effort.
