Hiking Northern Arizona

We started at the south trail head with intention sof extending the trail at the north end to Wilson Canyon. Good thing because when we arrived at the bridge at the north end of the trail we couldn't cross Oak Creek due to high water. The trail covers the beautiful types of geography encompassed in the red Roick area, from forest, creek bottom with trees and red rock. A moderate trail that we enjoyed. Part of the trail overlooks the village of Sedona so if you want a wilderness hike this isn't for you. We were there late February and ran into to quite a few folks around late morning into early afternoon. I would imagine this would be quite busy during the busy season.
