Hiking Northern Arizona

We hiked the Devil's Bridge today and it was very enjoyable. There was quite a few people on the trail, but spaced out enough that you didn't mind very much.
We went up past the bridge to the "pedestal rock" that over looks it. From below, you think that there are some Native American caves in the base, but there aren't. However, the view from that vantage point would lead a person to believe that it was used as a look out many years ago. The rock formation is quite impressive and the view only added to the wonderment of it all.
Like many other hikes in the area, Spring and Fall would be the best times, or early in the morning during the Summer season.
