Took the Crystal Creek Trail to Long Hollow and followed to Ashdown creek and then followed to Cedar Break National Monument. Crystal creek trail is fairly easy to follow with a few exceptions in areas with downed trees. Long Hollow on the other hand is extremely overgrown and crosses the creek twice in areas hardly recognizeable as trail. Not a trail you would want to travel without GPS. It however is absolutely gorgeous filled with wild flowers and inhabited by quail, turkey and deer to name a few. If you want to get away from the outside world this is a true jewel. Water is easy to come by in both the far end of crytal creek (2 miles) and seemingly year round in Ashdown creek (7 miles).
