The city of Menlo Park’s Bayfront Park and the Bay Trail to Highway 84 are close to populous neighborhoods and to many offices and plants. Noontime runners and families on weekend excursions find interest in the ever-changing marsh and Bay life. Although there are two short gaps in the Bay Trail south of Highway 84, most of the route is complete. Bayfront Park – A Hike on the Hills or a Run by the Slough, The Bay Trail from Marsh Road to Dumbarton Bridge, A Walk North in Ravenswood Open Space Preserve around a Restored Marsh, Walk or Bike to Palo Alto from Ravenswood Open Space Preserve.
