This hike takes you to a delightful series of small lakes and ponds in Eagle’s Nest Wilderness on a path that is lavishly decorated with wildflowers in the early summer. Few hikes offer this much beauty with such easy access and minimal effort.

Great little hike to bring the whole family (as leashed dogs are welcome!)! Most of the hike is under the cover of lodge pole pines. For the first 1/4 mile, there is no cover - so be ready with sunscreen and sunglasses at the start and the end (if doing out-and-back).

We snowshoed the trail and it was a nice easy trail! A few small rolling hills through the woods to the Lily Pad Lakes. Can't wait to go back in July to see all of the Lily Pads in bloom! Great Hike for taking visitors who aren't used to the altitude.
