There are a lot of well-kept secrets in these mountains, and here is one of them. Rasmussen Lakes offer solitude, fine camping, and good fishing. The only price you’ll have to pay for all of this is less than 2 miles of cross-country hiking. Most likely, it’s the cross-country part that keeps most visitors away. Whenever access is a little tricky, people seem to shy away. So, if you like to be alone but don’t like to hike very far, this could be for you.
