This is good horse country. The Dry Gulch Drainage is the smallest in the Uinta Mountains, and Crow Basin forms a natural box canyon at the top of the drainage. These factors, along with abundant pasture and water, make it well suited for horses. Recreational use is generally quite light, but it appears to be more heavily used than it is. Litter and well-worn horse camps take away from the aesthetics.
