Even small kids can enjoy this hike. You don’t have to be in good shape either. This is a minihike. If you only have a couple of hours to spend, you could take a leisurely stroll down to Fehr Lake, fish a bit, and still make it back in time for lunch.

This is a great hike for young kids. I'm talking 3-5 years old. No sooner did my 5 year old ask "Are we there yet?" and the lake came into view. The lake was quiet and provides access to numerous other lakes.
