Frog Peak is one of the more interesting backpacking trips in the Powell Ranger District. Much of the hike traverses country that burned in a 2007 wildfire. It incorporates a little bit of everything: lively streams and pretty lakes; scenic parks and high ridgelines; good fishing and excellent wildlife viewing.
