This was by far one of the nicest experiences our family could chosen to do. We arrived at 6pm one hour before closing time. There was only one other couple there.
The scenery is beautiful with fast rapids flowing below the man made pool. The pool was clean and wonderfully warm.
There is an area of natural rocks with the hot spring flowing into the pool that has the normal algae growth which is accessible to bathers as well. The closer one gets to the spring the warmer the water. After an hour at $6. per person ($4. for 12 and under) our entire family was relaxed beyond words. Be forewarned as were we by someone leaving as we were arriving..."Get ready to feel like an overcooked noodle". No more explanation needed.
The spot was majestic, natural and so much fun. We went on a slow evening after hiking around Jenny Lake. Our kids loved it and we even heard you might see some big horn sheep in the evening. It was a gorgeous spot.
