The trail to Pine Creek Falls is located in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. The trail follows Pine Creek upstream to the falls through a spruce, fir, aspen and maple forest.
When the creek is out of view, it can still be heard cascading downstream. Pine Creek Falls is a tall, narrow waterfall that spreads out as it plunges over rock outcroppings. It is a great place to spend some time and have a picnic lunch.
