The Northside Riverfront Trail is in the heart of Missoula above the banks of the Clark Fork River. The bike and pedestrian path leads through the city parks of Caras Park, Bess Reed Park, and Kiwanis Park. From Caras Park to Bess Reed Park, the path is paved and wheelchair accessible.
Various side paths lead down to the river’s edge. The hike can begin from several access points. This hike begins by the hand-carved carousel in Caras Park, where the parking is most convenient.
