The Canyon River Trail is located in the Canyon River Golf Community in East Missoula. The public trail is one mile long and follows a big bend in the Clark Fork River. The level, dog-friendly path begins at the club house and connects with the community center. From the low bluffs, side paths lead down to the banks of the river. Throughout the hike are picturesque views of Mount Jumbo and Mount Sentinel.

It's a great hike up, but the hike down is a little hard on the knees.
