The Riverside Trail is an easy river stroll along the banks of the Madison River. The trail begins in the town of West Yellowstone and follows a beautiful forested path into Yellowstone National Park. Primarily used as an angler and game trail, the path along the Madison River meanders across wildflower-covered meadows. In the morning, it is common to see moose along the river banks. During the winter, it is a popular cross-country ski trail.
