The West Red Lodge Creek Trail begins near the town of Luther and climbs to the Red Lodge Creek Plateau and Crow Lake. It is a full-day, strenuous hike to this 1 0,000- foot alpine plateau. At the vast windswept summit are wide-ranging, unobstructed vistas of Sylvan Peak, Bare Mountain, and the Silver Run Plateau. This route can also be hiked as a 1 2-mile, one-way shuttle with the Senia Creek Trail (Hike 22). Bring warm clothing and be prepared for changes in weather.
