Meyers Creek, nine miles northwest of Nye, tumbles through a scenic landscape with open grasslands, volcanic outcrops and ridges, mixed conifers, and deciduous vegetation. This hike follows the lower end of the Meyers Creek Trail up the scenic canyon. The hike then veers south and climbs up Pass Creek Trail along Pass Creek on the east face of Meyer Mountain. The trails leads to North Pass Creek Spring, a natural spring that fills a trough, and an overlook of the Castle Creek drainage with far-reaching vistas.

This was the first hike I did when I moved to Montana. The drive there is breathtaking. This is a great hike to take kids on. The waterfalls beautiful, with a nice campgrounds close by.
