This trail follows the foot of Corrugate Ridge, an imposing rock wall that defines the boundary between the Teton and Sun River drainages. The ascents on this trail are quite gradual due to the shallow grade of its switchbacks. This makes the trail ideal for foot travelers who want to reach the peaks without a steep climb, but may be frustrating for more aggressive hikers. The high alpine areas along the boundary between Bruce and Nanny creeks are quite susceptible to damage; select a camping spot at lower elevations to avoid damaging the alpine tundra. This trail is typically impassable during early summer, when lingering snowdrifts and spring avalanches block the trail. Travelers should expect muddy conditions along this trail following wet weather.
