Our Lake is a popular weekend destination for day hikers from Great Falls. It offers a moderate climb to a high alpine lake set in a rugged basin surrounded by imposing rock faces. Mountain goats scamper along the rocky faces above the lake, and cutthroat trout cruise its placid waters. ' Horses are not permitted on this trail, and camping should be limited to the basin below the lake. Because the lake receives so many visitors, it is important for each traveler to refrain from activities that might ruin the wilderness experience for others.
