This is a great trail with mountaintop views, limestone cliffs,a natural bridge and an incredible view at the end. This hike will definitely get your heart rate up as the first few miles or so climb steadily up through the surrounding mountains. You then switchback down into a canyon that is lined on both sides with limestone cliffs and a small natural bridge, all while making your way to the end of the trail and the lookout area.I would recommend taking this hike during the summer,as I have taken it in the summer and when there was a great deal of snow here...and found it to be very challenging in the deep snow.
