A long, strenuous hike to do in a day but we managed it! There are lots of black bears in the area so be careful with your dogs. We saw one right off the side of the trail eating a carcass! Beautiful 360 degree views from the top. Bring a lot of water for a hot day as there is not much along the trail.

Great hike close to Missoula. Not a lot of water for the dogs once you leave the valley. More than 5 lakes at the tope.
