Camden Hills State Park is a popular destination for hikers throughout the year, particularly on summer weekends. While most folks are drawn to a handful of popular vistas, the park is also big enough to support quiet destinations as well, such as Zekes Lookout. While the views are not as breathtaking as at other area locations, the journey to Zekes Lookout offers visitors more subtle rewards. In fact, while enjoying the peaceful forest surroundings along the way, you are more apt to be interrupted by a melodious chorus of warbling songbirds than the rowdy shouts of fellow hikers.

Nice trails. The weather was perfect and the trails were very crowded. Not too easy and not too difficult.
