Views of distant islands and boat-filled harbors from one ledge, and scenes of rolling hills, farmland, and a deep blue lake from another, highlight this loop’s many attractions. The journey, which leads past two popular Camden Hills State Park destinations, completes a figure-eight circuit while also passing through some of the state park’s quieter locations. Two loops in one, the hike can be completed as described or as two shorter, separate adventures. Whichever option you choose, you will not go home disappointed any time of the year.

Very nice hike. Took 4 hrs included 2 rests. I would give this hike 5 points for the great views but if I compare it to other hikes in other areas, 4 points are ok. A great moderate hike with fantastic views on the Maine coastline.
