This loop follows the Ipswich River as it cuts between Bradley Palmer State Park and the adjacent Willowdale State Forest. Together they offer 721 acres and over 20 miles of trails. For a small sample of that variety, this hike leaves the river at the park’s edge and emerges from mountain laurel and rhododendron groves as it circles through rolling fields, rises to Blueberry Hill, and returns to the start.
