The campground at Tolland State Forest is on a peninsula that juts out into Otis River. Its location on the water translates to a lot of sites at or near the water. Most of the lakeside sites lie well down off the road, so they also feel secluded. The sites in the high 20's and 30's are the top-notch sites here. Overall, most of the sites are moderate in size. There are also a few management sites, designated by letters, spread throughout the campground. These sites rotate in and out of circulation to minimize impact on the campground overall.
