Although there are no dramatic cliff-top or ocean views on this trail, you can view lush valley scenery and get a different perspective on Acadia National Park. As if in a hanging garden, ferns drape over the top of huge slabs of granite that sheared off Beech Mountain. And chances are you’ll be able to get away from the crowds here, although you may hear ME 102 traffic in the distance. Highlights: Less-traveled walk through lush valley between Beech Mountain and Canada Cliffs.
