Like other lake and pond hikes in Acadia, the Eagle Lake Trail can be walked just for its water views or for the access it provides to nearby mountains. What we’ve found particularly special about this trail is the access it provides to the lesser-known Conners Nubble, just north of the highly popular Bubbles. And like other similar trails, the Eagle Lake Trail has its easy, flat sections and its rougher up-and-down sections.
