A recreational climb to a scenic peak overlooking the Stowe Valley. The most popular hike in the lower Worchester Range, with 11,000 visitors annually. Nearly 800 feet lower than Mount Hunger, Stowe Pinnacle still commands breath-taking mountain views. Though the looming summits of the Worcester Range block the eastern horizon, Stowe Pinnacle’s granite knobs share its neighbor’s perspective on Mount Mans field and the northern Green Mountains that tower majestically above Smugglers Notch and Stowe Valley to the west. The comparative reduction in elevation gain and easy access from the heart of Stowe Village make the Pinnacle Trail the route of choice for casual recreation.

Great trail and we went a day after the record rainfall! Not a piece of litter considering how many day hikers we saw. View was fantastic at the summit, though colors were lacking reds. Great trail to have our dogs on.

Nice trail. Bottom is swampy, but the boards help. May be better later in the season.
