Did an overnight from Big Branch down to Griffith Lake over Baker Peak and then back around via the Old Job Trail. Great weather and a clear view from Baker Peak. The Griffith Lake tenting area had many blow downs making them less than optimal. The Old Job Trail still has some washed out areas but the trail is still able to be used. It was listed as closed but a call to the local ranger confirmed it was open with some rough patches.

Thia is an okay hike. It takes about 4 hours round trip. This is the third time for me. I have hiked it in the summer(rained all the time)winter(snowed 6" that day) and fall, beautiful time to go. Do not think I will be going back for spring hike. Views are great from Bakers Peak but only if the weather is good that day.
