The lofty Camden Hills are the highest coastal promontories on the Eastern seaboard south of Acadia National Park. Most people summit 1,385-foot Mount Megunticook, the highest peak in the range, for its excellent ocean vistas. Far fewer explore the park’s remaining network of trails, which tour a remarkably diverse forest and a handful of surprise views. Bald Rock Mountain hides out in the park’s northern tier, offering two lean-tos near ocean panoramas.
