On a trip to the Upper Peninsula, you’re likely to see a hawk or an eagle, and maybe even several if you’re here for a few days. However, only at Whitefish Point can you hope to see twenty raptors in just an hour or two. Of course, you have to be there at the right time, and that’s tricky to calculate.Your best bet is to go from mid-March to mid-May, when there is still ice on the lake and snow on the ground.
