A fine stop for overnight paddlers on the Manistee, as well as campers who just enjoy setting up camp near a nice stretch of river. The campground is located on the Manistree River at MI 37, south of Kingsley. Fly-fishing is a big deal up here, but all sorts of anglers come for the bass, walleye, brown trout, and rainbow trout. The campground itself is pleasant. A thick strand of trees serves to divide the campground in half. The trees offer a lot of shade, even on the sunniest days.
