We hiked only a portion of this trail, parking at the main parking lot and following the paved Tieman Shut-Ins Trail to the Cats Paw overlook, then turning and hiking upstream until we reached the picnic area, then turning back around and hikind downstream just a bit past the pine rock overlook. This is an amazing stretch of river. I never knew it was here and would not have found it without trails.com. We stayed at the Silver Mines recreation area, in the the riverside loop (the only section with electric hookups). We would have liked to hike from Millstream to Silver Mines but would not have been able to make the full point to point and back. We will try again another time. As it was, I slipped on a rock in the river and really banged up my shin badly. The river is amazing and we hope to make it back in a few weeks. We saw snakes, turtles, and a beaver. Saw only a few other people on the trail. Would definitely recommend this trail. Becky - Ballwin, MO
