My dogs and I hiked this park almost every week. The six mile hike consist flat praire land, tree covered flat terrain, inclined rocky terrain, plenty of deer, and the best of all, a creek for the pets to swim in. The cons: You can get lost-its not challenging. As someone who works 60-70 hours a week I tend to hike for excersise and solidarity, and this trail, though very convient for me(I live 10 minutes from it) gives me niether. The trail backs to a disc golf course, subdivision, and other park activities. For someone who has dogs-dont bring them unless you want to watch for rangers, they will ticket you with no leash. Overall, hike this trail for a quick before work or after work hike, and save the weekends for the long, more challenging hikes.
