As the county road leading into the park starts to drop down into the valley, you begin to sense that Miesville Ravine is going to be a bit rough, and totally quaint. This hike begins at the end of the north parking lot. There, a mowed, grassy corridor cuts through the thick brush understory and past tall cottonwoods lining the floor of the ravine. It follows Trout Brook for its entire length of just more than 1.5 miles.
